Meet Kat
Hi there everyone! My name is Kat, your college mentor cat. Welcome to my blog about college admissions and college tips.
A little bit about me: In previous years, I have worked as a college advisor and served students from first generation backgrounds. I have also worked in admissions at a prestigious university and have worked with students from various backgrounds such as undergraduate, transfer, graduate and international students and student athletes. I have experience working in both admissions and college retention space.
Fun facts:
- I have my Masters degree in School Counseling
- I love going out to different coffee shops and trying new drinks in my free time
- I am an avid walker and try to aim for at least 8-10K steps per day
- I also love attending music concerts with friends as it makes a really fun experience
My goal for this page is to share as many resources I’ve learned throughout my time in education and make college accessible for everyone.
